Houston, I’ve created another problem for myself

So after this year in debate, I will have two years of eligibility.  David will be leaving to go to medical school essentially leaving me without a legitimate coach.  I’m poised to graduate in December 2010 or May 2011.  And I’m thinking too much.

UNLV has a newer debate team.  They are rumored to have a lot of scholarship money.  It’s a NDT/CEDA team.  I could essentially debate without having to take any challenging courses since I’m so close to graduating.

Dylan, Dana, Ian, and crew have been talking about starting a team at UNO.  Seriously talking.  Like it’s probably two years away.  I get tired of them making fun of NFA-LD.  They unintentionally (maybe) seem to assert that I’m not a good enough debater for NDT.

I gave up on wanting to do NDT/CEDA nearly 3 years ago.  I don’t like suddenly reevaluating that decision.  Am I being crazy or is it my chance to get out of Nebraska?
